Drdak fuses sacred tradition with contemporary technique, merging ancient processes and luminous materials to explore transformation and the sublime. Miles, in contrast and complement, shapes raw material into forms that embody strength and human presence.

"Memos From the Ephemeral #33 by Brian David Dennis. Mixed Media, 16 x 48 in.
We are delighted to announce Werring Contemporary’s inaugural exhibition, opening on Friday, May 3rd, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Join us for an evening that launches our gallery’s vision with a powerful new collection by the exceptional mixed-media artist Brian David Dennis.
Dennis’s Memos from The Ephemeral transforms found materials—plastic sheets, metal fragments, fabric, paper, lace-like pigment patterns—into finely balanced compositions suffused with memory and meaning. These scavenged surfaces are elevated beyond their humble origins into tapestries of intuition and metaphor, where fleeting notions pour in like “telegrams written in tongues,” poised between the tangible and the ungraspable.
Please join us in the gallery to explore this captivating body of work and celebrate our first chapter together.
The exhibition will be on view in the gallery through Friday, June 28th, 2024
