United by their roots at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, these alumni and former instructors have helped redefine the possibilities of contemporary figurative painting. Through psychologically charged and formally inventive work, they move beyond traditional representations of the human form, pushing it into new conceptual and emotional territory.
Continuum traces a shared lineage and enduring influence, revealing an ongoing dialogue across artists and generations, one that continues to shape how the figure is seen and reimagined today.
