Left: "Inferno" by Maureen Drdak (copper repousse elements and mixed media on archival panel, 48 in.) Right: "C Pod" by Tom Miles (bronze, 15 x 15 in.)
Werring Contemporary partners with Philadelphia’s iMOCA — the Interactive Museum of Contemporary Art — for this two-person exhibition featuring internationally recognized artist Maureen Drdak and acclaimed sculptor Tom Miles.
Drdak fuses the sacred and the contemporary, marrying ancient techniques with radiant materials to explore transformation and the human encounter with the sublime.
Miles, in contrast and complement, gives weight to gesture and form — shaping raw material into structures that evoke balance, resilience, and quiet power.
Together, their works resonate as a unified force — an exchange of energy, matter, and spirit that compels contemplation and reveals the transformative nature of art.
An Artist Talk will be held at iMOCA on
Saturday, October 11th from 2 pm - 4 pm
