Join us at Werring Contemporary for a special afternoon with Vincent Desiderio, one of the most influential figurative painters working today. Known internationally for his psychologically rich, deeply layered compositions, Desiderio has been a leading voice in contemporary painting for more than four decades. His work is held in major museum collections and has shaped generations of artists through both his studio practice and his long teaching career.
During this event, guests will have the opportunity to engage directly with the artist as we explore the works currently on view in Continuum, including Desiderio’s Burning Man and Musica Proibita, alongside pieces by fellow Philadelphia-based painters Alex Kanevsky and Bruce Samuelson.
