A Collection of Works by Paul Cava and Wendy Liss

This exhibition presents Cava’s visceral imagery and Liss’s elemental sculpture as two distinct bodies of work, brought together through the contrast between image and object. Cava’s layered compositions explore the body, intimacy, and psychological tension, while Liss’s forms emphasize material, gesture, and physical presence.

Cava’s art is held in collections worldwide, including the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the Bibliothèque Nationale de France in Paris. Liss has taught and exhibited throughout the East Coast for more than three decades, developing a practice guided by an intuitive relationship with her materials.
