WERRING CONTEMPORARY
KERRY DUNN
Kerry Dunn is a painter deeply rooted in the traditions of the old masters. He earned his BFA in Illustration from the Ringling School of Art and Design in 1999 and went on to study with renowned portrait painter Nelson Shanks from 2002 to 2008. A founding faculty member at Studio Incamminati, Dunn has taught there since its inception and served as Artistic Director for the 2024–2025 academic year.
Based in South Philadelphia, Dunn focuses primarily on portraiture, using line, form, and color to capture character and spirit. His broader interests—figure, still life, landscape, and illustration—inform and enrich his exploration of the human experience through paint.
