Xavier Rodés is a Spanish contemporary painter whose luminous landscapes and urban scenes are celebrated for their exceptional command of light, atmosphere, and composition. He studied at EINA College in Barcelona, where his final project explored the theme of the industrial and urban landscape. Today, Rodés lives and works from his home studio in El Masnou, a coastal town just outside Barcelona.

Rodés has developed a distinctive artistic language that combines meticulous draftsmanship with a masterful treatment of light. While grounded in realism, his paintings move beyond straightforward representation, emphasizing compositional balance, chromatic harmony, and the quiet poetry of place. His work invites viewers to experience familiar environments through a contemplative and deeply atmospheric lens.

Since his first solo exhibition in 1996, Rodés has exhibited extensively throughout Spain, most notably at Sala Parés in Barcelona and Ansorena Gallery in Madrid. He has also participated in numerous international art fairs, including those in Strasbourg, London, and Madrid. His paintings are represented in public and private collections and galleries around the world, including the United States, France, Switzerland, and Argentina.
