Val Rossman is a celebrated artist recognized for her vibrant abstract paintings and works on paper. Over the course of a career spanning more than four decades, she has presented over 33 solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions throughout the United States. Her work has received multiple honors, including the Award for Excellence from both The State Museum of Pennsylvania and Cheltenham Art Center.
Rossman has also maintained a longstanding commitment to arts education, serving on the faculty of Main Line Art Center and currently teaching at Wayne Art Center and Woodmere Art Museum. Her work has been featured on Bravo and is held in both private and corporate collections, including Blue Cross of Greater Philadelphia, AT&T, and University of Pennsylvania.
Characterized by an intuitive command of color and a lyrical sense of movement, Rossman’s paintings and drawings balance spontaneity with refinement, creating richly layered compositions that feel both deeply personal and immersive.
